Music Production
Music Production, in modern terms, is the process of writing, recording, arranging and mastering music for distribution. I have been writing songs for over 15 years and love having a studio at my disposal for when the inspiration comes.
Production
I have come to completely enjoy the ease and simplicity of using Apple's Garage Band software with the built-in 24bit audio interface on my Mac for all my composing and producing.
My system has basically everything I need to produce good sounding tracks ready to upload to the web or to eMail for family and friends to enjoy.
Post-Production Editing
A song at maximum (native) resolution sounds incredible and is perfect for CD/DVD reproduction, but you will not be able to upload a 40Mb track to your MySpace account nor could you successfully eMail a file that large for your friends or family to enjoy.
Original material can be converted from it's native format to a variety of other formats like: MP3, OGG, AIFF or WMA at the resolution best suited to your needs.
The material can also be edited for length so that you only provide a preview or sample of it. This is ideal when you want to provide a sample of your work before someone buys it.
